Was supposed to be plug and play, but i cant download any new games being that my hard drive is full. It seems as if there is something missing such as an app that reads the external drive. I have tried "full reboots",Īll three usb ports, making sure the setting to keep hard drives on is checked, you name it i've done it. My xbox one will recognize that an external hard drive is connected however it only gives me the option to view contents. Doing so should display an option labelled Create and format. Maybe you got the 16GB working because it was already FATX formatted whereas in the old days, you'd require a Xbox to format any USB drive and it wouldn't pick up a non FATX USB drive bigger than 4GB.
